I’m back! I love a good series to keep me focused. This past week I have been all over the place. I’ve forced my self to take some me-time and flip through my stack of magazines, I’ve explored another new (to me) shopping site, and have discovered some really great projects and blogs through the link parties I party at. Interested to see what I’m favoriting? Check them out!
Do It Yourself magazine Winter 2012 pg 90. If you peek at the “paper clipped” image in black and white, you’ll see the pieces used to make this awesome wine bar center. I get it, tea carts are all the rage right now. The portability is unmatched, but how creative is this?! It had to take a whole lot of vision to piece these pieces together. If I don’t find myself a bar cart, I think this will make a beautiful substitute. Plus, that yellow is all the rage right now!
Do It Yourself magazine Winter 2012 page 99. I’ve been picking up loads of succulents on clearance at Lowe’s lately and I’ve been catching up on the loads of succulents projects out there. This hanging frame assortment is so beautiful. Plants are beautiful decor and clustering many in a few frames just melts my heart. I may not make a wall of succulents frames myself, but I enjoyed the image and I hope you do to!
Better Homes an Gardens magazine September 2013 pg. 33 Joy Cho’s home. There are so many things about this bedroom that I enjoy. Notice that area rug? It looks knitted, like a sweater! How absolutely cozy! And those bedside lamps. I love that they’re gold, and arched, and that they match. In a room that (appears) is on the small side, the lamps matching really look put together and stylish. I’m also ga-ga over the window/curtain headboard. gold curtain rod, love, window, love, and simple curtains, love. I really wanted to use the giant windows in our bedroom as our headboard bu there’s only 1 vent in the room and it’s right underneath it. bummer.
Swoon worthy! I love so, so much about this outdoor room! Please go check this space out. Those distressed red chairs. That barnhouse light fixture. The globular light strand. SO many key pieces here. I just absolutely love it. This is exactly what I want out future outdoor eating area to look like!
And because Fall is basically here (Starbucks Pumpkin Spice is back afterall!), this beautiful centerpiece! It’s shiny and pretty and I love it. I haven’t worked on any Fall decorating yet. But when I do I’ll be taking tips from this and many others!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my favorites as much as I have! I hope you have a great week, and I hope you discover 5 new favorite things yourself!
